• Bushwick Street Art & Culinary Tour - March 1st 10:30 to 1:30pm

    Bushwick is the hidden jewel of Brooklyn, known for its unique graffiti art, wood-oven pizzas, authentic tacos and cool vibe, it is a place you must explore! The tour will appeal to all of your senses beginning with a taste of Bushwick’s history as we sample wood-oven pizza at the famous Roberta’s; authentic tortillas and tacos from Tortilleria Mexicana Los Hermanos ; Little Skip’s; Union Pizza Works; and a tour of Fine & Raw Chocolate Factory. For the visual senses, Bushwick Art Collective will wow the eye.

    Let's delve into the immigrant story through a culinary walking tour of the Lower East Side. We will taste our way around town as we learn the secrets of: Kossar's Bialys, the oldest bialy bakery in the country, Yonah Shimmel Knish Bakery, Russ & Daughters, specialty foods shop, Pickle Guys, Katz's Delicatessen, and More! We will also visit Eldridge Street Synagogue and Museum, one of the oldest synagogues in the US, a true gem. Finally, we will visit one of my favorite Bowery kitchen supply stores.

I'm so excited to share all of the secret wonders of this amazing neighborhood, starting in the 1800's all the way through to present day. You'll be tasting your way from one culinary gem to another.
